The role of the ‘Honam Institute for Korean Studies’ is to collect, organize, translate, and explain the materials of Korean Studies in the Honam area and to create a database. Based on this mission, we must also dedicate ourselves to enhancing the identity of Korean culture and the pride of the Honam people.
However, because of the current social environment and the changing state of the times, our mission is also expanding to further require easy accessibility and usage at the eye level of the public.
Proceeding with these tasks urgently requires your participation and help. We will prudently carry on with our mission of turning our recorded cultural heritage into precious assets.
